The 'Le Wade' Phenomenon

As this is more of a discussion than plain gossip it reads down the page with the newer stuff added at the bottom.

He has tried to deny it, but the truth will out! Wadey is now 'Cosmopolitan Wadey' or as he should now be known..... 'Le Wade'

Since Le Wade has moved house and dared to leave Bradford (a feat not seen since his younger carefree early twenty years) some of us have begun to notice changes in our friend.

First Le Wade has chosen Leeds as his home. Some would say 'pah, closest city to the Peel after Bradford', but there's more to it than that. Not only has Le Wade managed to secure himself a job ( a 9 to 5 one at that), his house is also a bit flash.

A tidy kitchen, complete with assorted knick-knacks and a table cloth, merely acts as cover for what lurks beneath (in the cellar). 'Le Pit', of which we are still awaiting the official opening, is his very own Wine Bar. While it currently lacks the obvious amenities of Sky Sports it leads us to question Le Wades commitment to the holy Peel.

So what has proved that Wadey is now truly Le Wade ? Well... to be honest I think there may still be some more proof to come, but the fact that Le Wade is now using words like rhetorical in his e-mails can only add weight to my argument.

Interesting comments about 'Le Wade' have you also noticed how his jeans have begun to look like they fit and in that chic black colour that's all so cosmopolitan now. Also I think he didn't loose his glasses but was secretly trying out contact lenses.

I think it is inevitable that Le Wade will slowly move upwards through the social classes and maybe one day rise above the class of "old dodgy bloke in a pub" to the esteemed position of "respectable old rich bloke in a pub". However the only true measure of the social rise of Le Wade will be his footwear "To astro, or not to astro ?".

To astro or not to astro? Well Le Wade was sporting a nice pair of Clarks brouges on saturday night that a little bird told me cost the equivilant of 41 pints of green label. So it appears that the only place we will be seeing astros is on the astro.

I hear Le Wade has bought a new stick off Badger, moving on from that `thing' he has evidently been using since long before most of us were born. A little posh I believe.
