1st Team Away at Hull 4/03/2000

What a top weekend,

I think that Matt scoring the wonder goal in the last 30 seconds set us up for what was to happen. What a weekend of carnage ensued. Denny the beer engine came out soon after the game and the first victims were Matt and Mayboy. Matt dispatching his bottle rapidly and Ian deciding to spew his beer all over me.

I think everyone gave it a try and after visiting the pubs in Cottingham the journey home was most amusing. The team porn got read aloud and we ended up playing spoof almost to the M606. Matt Chuter having lost was made to walk the length of Longside Lane in just his boxers ( although we allowed him to wear his shoes). At this point I lost all recollection of the night, so the Table footy auction is a complete mystery to me. I ended up being carried home.

Sunday turned out to be one of those sessions that just happened and I am sure it is one that Balesy, Timbo and myself will not forget. All in all a completely drunk and raucous weekend, I was still drinking with Roy at 3 O'clock on Monday morning.
