Christmas Dinner 1997
Lads hockey and Girls hockey, have the christmas dinners in separate places but by the end of the night everyone is back in the Peel. This year it ended up as Spice World meets Camelot!Ye olde "Knights of Pear" were preparing for battle.
They then all gathered in the Peel for a council of war. The evil 'Lord Protector' (Machin) had to be overthrown, ending his reign. The Pear King was to be entrusted with 'King Ashtray's' throne.
It was not long before the Lord protector arrived to find that his armies had abandoned him, leaving a pitiful collection of loyal, but foolish minions.
Machin: "Viv will you protect my rear?"
Viv: "Don't be so foul! I'm with them anyway!"
Once both claimants to the throne had arrived, it wasn't long till Guinevere made her entrance.....
Cooky: "Hmmm time to check out the menu!"
Wadey: "Pick me a side dish Cooky and we'll shove these where no chastity belt has been before!"
Alex: "Your not spit polishing my lance wench!"
"Hmmmm...I'll have number 1 with extra cream please!!"
Merlin then went on a mission to have the same scary face on any photo he was on.....
Andy: "My My what a big wand you have duncan!"
Dunc: "That's nothing! Check out my crystal balls!"
Just to prove the point about Merlin.................
....here he is with two witches disguised as bar staff from the Peel.
The traditional christmas banquet starts with Shuffler feeling a bit merry and singing "I'm a little tea pot" in the background.
With people getting merrier Mike demonstrates his Turkey carving technique whilst Dave, unfortunately (for JP) misses his scabbard whilst putting his sword away.
Then finally the Girls turn up dressed as spice girls....
Then towards the end of the night Shuffler forgot to throw "Ye olde twat rap" up and started to suffer. It started with using a zimmer frame borrowed from "old spice". Then he got worse and worse until he was forced to be carried back to his hovel.

As Shuffler was thinking "I'll die with a little help from my friends" and mike was seen in yet another photo next to Marcus, Betty was preparing to Shuttle the Shuffler back home in her car. Little did she know how hard it would be. Meanwhile everyone went to the TND where things were getting very silly.
Claire: "I find a good tight grip and a steady rhythm works best"
Kirsty: "We are still talking about bar work arn't we?"
